We are hoping to produce a charity ice show this Summer (it will not be called Summer Ice Gala, but we haven’t picked a final title yet). We’re provisionally aiming to hold this on the 9th or 10th of July at Lee Valley, but we’re still confirming this. There is no required skating standard to submit an audition video and it can be a solo routine or a group number. We will be requesting auditions by video link (a private upload to YouTube for example). The main criteria for being involved is personality and performance. We are hoping to run the show like an ice cabaret so the more showbiz the better — props are welcome along with lots of sparkles! If you are interested in being involved please let us know.

Please email audition videos to lafscshow@gmail.com by 30th March 2016 — ideally a link to YouTube or Vimeo rather than the video file itself.

Here is some general info:

1. You do not have to be a member to submit a video but if successful you would be required to join the club to take part in the show (so must be over 18)
2. There is no minimum skating standard — this is about performance
3. You can do a solo or a group number and props are allowed provided they are not messy (i.e. glitter!)
4. You can submit a video you already have from a previous show or competition if you want to do the same routine or a slight variation
5. Solos up to 3 mins, or group numbers up to 5 mins
6. Ideally up beat music that will engage the audience
