Role of the Membership Secretary
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Good administrative skills and competent with email and data software
- Access to forms of communication and contactable (including willingness to publicise postal address)
- Prepared to make a regular time commitment
MAIN DUTIES
- Maintain a membership list/database
- Receive new membership applications, add to database and pay fees into the club accounts
- Removed lapsed members from the database
- Send out renewal reminders
- Handle members’ contact details with appropriate confidentiality
